These are tried and true classics and we have been making them for years. Some of these recipes has 100’s of comments so take some time and enjoy the reviews!

Easy Christmas Divinity – This is the microwave version! This recipe has 100’s of comments and it really does take the hard work out of this delicious candy. Surprise your friends and family with this classic.

Martha Washington Candy – These are a real treat and super simple to make! If you love chocolate-covered cherries, this is one you should make. They keep really well too!

Old Fashioned Potato Candy – This is a classic that has been around for a very long time. It has many different names and I have seen a few people say they make it without the potato.. but if you want the real deal.. ADD the potato!

Peppermint Fudge – Only a few ingredients and I promise you.. it’s fantastic! The flavor is amazing and even if you don’t love peppermint, you will love this fudge.

Old Fashioned Date Balls – This is probably one your Grandmother made and most people hear the word date.. and think they won’t like them… I assure you.. they are amazing! Make them.. and thank me later!

Southern Pecan Pralines – This is a recipe that many people love, melt-in-your-mouth pralines! It’s a classic for a reason! These make a great gift.

Only a Few Ingredients and No-Bake Desserts

When you are low on time this is the list you need! They are wonderful and delicious. Great for your coworkers or to set out on a dessert tray!

Christmas Crock Pot Candy – Only a few ingredients and you never have to turn on the stove! Grab some cupcake liners and you are ready to go. This one is great to make when you are busy in the kitchen baking, etc… cause the crock pot does the work!

Christmas Haystacks – these are only 3 ingredients and we love them. Many people make them butterstoch but we really love this combination and they look so good decorated! Try them, you will love them too.

Cool Whip Candy – No bake, and only 3 ingredients, and tastes just like Three Musketeers! It’s a true winner and one you will love. Delicious with coffee!

Peppermint Dipped Oreos – We love these because they are so easy but they taste amazing! We skipped the white chocolate and went with vanilla bark. It tastes just like the Oreo center! If you love this idea.. try these pretzels!

Crunchy Peanut Butter Balls – These are made with rice krispies and have the best taste! We love them cold, but they keep well and can be made way in advance.

No-Bake Avalanche Treats – These come together in about 10 minutes, and everyone loves them! You can add sprinkles to them to make them more festive.

Microwave Peanut Brittle – Yes.. you can make this in the microwave! So many great reviews on this recipe from the 1970’s!

Classic Christmas Cookies

It’s not the holiday season until we are in the kitchen baking some delicious Christmas Cookies! So many wonderful recipes to choose from. These are a few of our favorites.

Delicious Sugar Cookies – This is a recipe we have used forever and it’s always a hit. You can make these thin or thick, we do both and you can always make cream cheese frosting and add that or any icing you like.

Southern Pecan Cookies – These are easy to make and have such a wonderful flavor. If you like cookies that have a soft center, make these!

Tea Cakes – If you love shortbread cookies, add these to your list. My Grandmother made them all the time and they will keep for weeks, so they are perfect for Christmas!

Christmas Cool Whip Cookies – These ae only a few ingredients and so festive for the holidays! Add food coloring and enjoy spoiling your family with this easy cookie recipe.

Mexican Wedding Cookies – If you haven’t made these, run to your kitchen! They melt in your mouth and are always a hit!

Christmas Favorites

These are some of our favorite treats that we think you will love. They may not be an old-fashioned recipe, but they are a must-make!

Sugar Cookie Bars – These are made in an 8X8 and are incredible! Perfect for any small gathering and you can decorate them however you like!

Satline Cracker Toffee – This is a very easy recipe that comes together pretty quickly and super versatile. You can add sprinkles, M&M’s, anything you like to make it festive!

Salted Nut Roll – This taste just like a Payday bar and everyone always asks for the recipe. Great for a small gathering, cut into small pieces and serve on a pretty platter!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Brownies – Made with a mix and so very simple! Only a few ingredients and these are incredible!

Dandy Doo Cookies – Only a few ingredients but oh so yummy! This is one your family will love and great for any gathering!
